Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Journeymen or five years of experience in tooling
  • Two years of experience in metal stamping, familiar with progressive, transfer, and line dies
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to work necessary overtime if required
  • Blueprint interpretation skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and performing repetitive motion tasks.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently
  • Usage of a computer and other productivity machinery such as a calculator and control panels

 

 Ideal candidates will have 4 years’ experience in new build, deep draw extrusion; die try out, die maintenance, exceptional press troubleshooting skills & the ability to operate tool room equipment.
