Facilities Maintenance Manager

 

Job Description

 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in facilities management, including plant operations, maintenance or construction required. At least two (2) years shall have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity in healthcare. Extensive HVAC experience required. Outstanding human relations and leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment required. Demonstrated knowledge of how to accomplish superior performance in a unionized environment highly desirable. Equivalent related experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

 

Responsibilities:  The primary purpose of the Facilities Maintenance Manager is to ensure the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of all corrective and preventive facilities at University Hospital. Controls work order flow process for corrective and preventive work order system.
